Our yard sale last weekend was a great success! A great big thanks to Alma and Fred Bignall who hosted the yard sale at their home. Plus , thanks to all the people who donated items for the sale, the volunteers that came and helped us with it and all the people who came and purchased items.
It was great to hear stories about our working dogs from people who came by the sale. In the words of one of our puppy raisers: “I personally was touched by a shopper each day that had a story to tell about working with Tanner (my first pup). On Friday it was a teenage girl who said her mom recently suffered a stroke and is going through rehab at Genesis In-Patient Rehab Center. On Saturday it was a woman whose husband is going through rehab at Genesis following a spinal chord injury.”
We will do another sale later this year (date not yet set) so start collecting items as you clean out and ask friends and family to do the same. If you have a great location and want to volunteer to host the next sale, please let us know!
