Here’s what people have to say about Disability Assistance Dogs:
I work for Rural Advocates For Independent Living (RAIL) in Kirksville,MO. I was encouraged to find information about how dogs could be of help to people with disabilities. Thanks to your very informative and easy to use website I have been made aware of how much
help dogs can be. Several years ago I had a Black Lab (Jessie) that I had trained from a 8 week old pup using a book by Barbara Woodhouse. I was amazed at how quick she learned and how hard it was for me to convey what I wanted to teach her.The dog was smarter than I was. I spent a little time every day. I found being consistent was the key.Thank you again for the work you do.Chuck – Kirksville, Missouri
I see [my daughter] growing already from your help. She has already begun to get her self confidence out there, sometimes stronger than others but she will figure it out and the stronger she can be the better she will become because that brings self confidence and that is what it is all about. You have been a blessing for the both of us – we do appreciate you and your leadership and I think we need to tell you that once in a while between all of our questions and doubts and fears that we throw at you!
