Individuals, clubs, businesses and groups can sponsor the care and training of a dog, fund a team’s education, or help us fund special projects we are working on. It costs about $3,000 to $12,000 to train each of our dogs. In addition, we have to provide housing and care for them, provide lifetime support to partners and run our program. Puppy raisers spend a lot of time, energy and money on their puppies for the first year of their puppy’s life. Partners need housing while they are in training with their dog for 1 to 4 weeks. It has been estimated that the total cost of each team is about $30,000 – $45,000.
